Much of the spiritual and cultural treasures of the Asia are wrapped in layers of gold. This tour takes you to witness these marvels of these must-see destinations.

Take off in your private plane on our Golden Asia Private Jet Tour, traveling through Japan and Southeast Asia in a gilded path strewn with glittering palaces and temples.

The tour begins in Japan, where the unforgettable cities of Tokyo and Kyoto offer you an initiation into the nation’s feudal and spiritual roots. You will explore the most incredible of Japan’s historic national treasures, including Kyoto’s magnificent Golden Pavilion, reflected in a standing pond as smooth and clear as glass. The trip through Japan includes such immersive experiences as Green Tea Ceremony, and a traditional kaiseki dinner with a performance from the mysterious Japanese Geisha. After landing in Thailand, the first place you absolutely must visit is the Grand Palace Complex, former residence of the Thailand royal family, and home to Wat Phra Kaew – the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The Buddha statue is entirely surrounded in gold-plated artworks, including numerous statues depicting characters from the Ramayana epic. And within Wat Pho, you will marvel at the Reclining Buddha, swathed in gold as smooth as silk, smiling benevolently on all who visit. Myanmar is known as the land of 1,000 Golden Stupas, and for good reason – the landscape is dotted with gilded spires, sparkling in the sun. Your sightseeing tour of Yangon features the world- renowned Shwedagon Pagoda, undoubtedly one of Myanmar’s most important religious sites, wrapped in layers of bright gold plate. Experience the mystical wonder of the oil-lamp lighting ceremony, where thousands of candles lend the pagoda a fiery glow; a brilliant illumination that fills the whole area. Other gilded must-sees in Yangon include Sule Pagoda, whose radiant spire stands tall in the center of a busy roundabout, and Karaweik Hall, a floating restaurant designed like a royal river barge. Fly into Mandalay to see the majestic Mahamuni Pagoda, where you'll observe the venerable Great Sage Buddha statue wrapped with multiple layers of gold leaf. You'll also have the chance to visit the local workshop of a gold leaf craftsman and explore the production of this popular decoration. Before leaving Mandalay, bask in the radiant glow reflected on the Irrawaddy River as you unwind during a relaxing sunset cruise. Finally, head to Bagan, the religious heart of Myanmar, and city of hundreds of temples and pagodas. You’ll visit the Shwezigon Pagoda – one of the oldest temples, shining out like a beacon welcoming you to the city. While here, you’ll be fully immersed in Myanmar’s traditional culture, riding a horse cart to the city’s most ancient temples and pagodas. While there, you'll explore the From October to March, passengers can partake in Balloons over Bagan, where a sunrise view bathes the uncountable stupas in a dazzling glow. Finally, take off for the last couple days to the shores of Inle Lake, to explore the local villages of the Intha people. The traditions of the lake-dwelling Intha are different from the rest of Myanmar, and includes such curiosities as floating gardens, houses raised on stilts, and the amazing leg-rowing fishermen. You’ll have the chance while there to visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, built on the edge of the lake, housing five revered golden images of the Buddha.
