I overall had a great time in Japan despite the hot weather. The tour guides were friendly and informative, and we got to visit a lot of great local's in our itinerary. We got visit shine's, temples, shops, learn the customs of Japanese culture, visit the merchandise shops, eat good food, learn the countries history and so-forth. The hotel's were also comfy and luxurious. On top of that, everyone who I meet in Japan was very friendly and helpful. I'm also glad I booked the Anime flavour version of this tour so I could visit place's like Akihabara in Tokyo and check out all of the pop culture stores. Everything after that felt like an adventure going across the country of Japan.

We had an amazing time on our tour! Every day was packed with travel and seeing places that we never could have fit into 10 days if we were on our own. Our tour guide, Billy, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about every place we visited, and had a lot of great information to share with us each step of the way. The amount of planning and thought that was put into the activities each day was impressive. The festival was the highlight of the tour. We were thoroughly satisfied with the tour and would come back in the future!

We got to stayed in traditional Japanese hotels and enjoyed traditional meals. Our guide and driver were very professional and always on time. They always made sure we were comfortable. Our private tour was a very memorable trip of a lifetime for the 10 of us. Kenta, our English speaking tour guide was great/excellent. All 10 of us felt comfortable asking him questions and talking to him. He communicated very well with us, kept us informed, and on time. He was very knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. And towards the end of the trip he had to work hard to get a wheelchair for our 87 year old mom who was getting tired of walking. The hotels were very good. We all enjoyed our first time rickshaw ride through the Arashiyama bamboo forest. The rickshaw drivers were very entertaining. It was also extremely considerate of the rickshaw company to take our carryon bags to the hotel. We all loved the private onsens in Arashiyama. One of the boys was so happy to wear the yukata that he bought one in Miyajima for wearing at home. I have never been to an onsen where you could choose your yukata from such a vast array of colors. The ramen and okonomiyake making experiences were very fun and tasty. We were very thankful that Rie Taki was able to help us so much with the preplanning of the trip and the purchase of group tickets to the Tokyo Giants game. We all go to Mariner baseball games in Seattle but the Japanese baseball games are totally different: fun, exciting, with coordinated cheering, wild and loud. We were all excited to see the Ichiro museum (again for a couple of us) in Nagoya and even more surprised to see his father since Ichiro was being inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame the next morning. He even gave each of us a package of his Chichiro curry (Ichiro's favorite) in honor of Ichiro's induction. The Hiroshima museum was a poignant history lesson. We could have spent more time there except it was very very crowded.

Tour was AMAZING & our guide, Billy was awesome! He was so knowledgeable & kept us all very engaged. Everything, from the hotels, to the food & activities were 5 Star! It was so relaxing & stress free for ME to book this tour with a family of 4 (2-Adults & 2-Kids) not having to worry about the logistics of VERY BUSY trains/buses was a god send. Our tour bus was so nice, comfortable & ALWAYS on time & our driver was a Rock Star, driving us around on some crazy narrow/winding roads. I would 100% recommend booking a tour, especially if it’s your 1st time visiting Japan!
