Well organized and nicely put together. Just the right amount of time, with all the walking and being on the "go". The Guide was remarkable. He was knowledgeable and patient and made sure we were all following even in very crowded areas. He was easy to communicate with. While I greatly appreciated the historic sites, I also liked that we got to experience special items like the bullet train, the Skytree and Shibuya Scramble. All of the accommodations were quality and comfortable. The hotel check ins were well organized and easy. While out of season, we still saw a lot of cherry blossoms which were really beautiful.

The tour was wonderful and well organized. We enjoyed the variety of sites we were able to visit. We very much appreciated our tour guide Billy and especially how much he informed us about the history and culture of Japan while riding on the bus.

Temples were not very handicapped accessible but we had a fun time. My wife and I really liked our Guide and Driver. I even lost my phone and Kida-san even with an injured knee was the first to look for it and was so amazing.

Rin (sp?), our tour guide, was absolutely wonderful. She was quite knowledgeable, but more importantly, she handled a number of issues with the individuals within the group. This includes myself. At the end of the end of the tour while we were about to board the bus to the airport, I passed out due to dehydration (my own fault). She stayed with me and, after I recovered, took us to the airport in a taxi.

We had a fabulous time on our trip. Ling was an amazing tour guide. For 3 week straight, she kept the group going, on time and cohesive. She was really good at managing some difficult personalities from the other guests. We had a few miserable people who complained a lot, but most of the other people on the tour were nice and decent people. Ling was funny, informative and friendly. We would totally take a tour with her again and can't wait to mail her a thank you gift to the office. We saw so much, it's hard to remember it all. Highlights for me were Nagasaki, the sulfur spring onsen, Mt. Fuju, the fox shrine in Kyoto and Sapporo. It was cool to see a mix of small towns, cities and national parks. Most of the food was great, not all. But I prefer BBQ and Mexican food over what Japanese people eat. However, Japan has the best chocolate and ice cream, I recommend the cantaloupe/squid ink swirl. I wish there was a little more downtime in the larger cities, but other than that, it was great tour. I think I saw more of Japan in 3 weeks a lot of the people who live there. We went for the Sakura blooming season, but we were amazed and over joyed by the camellias instead. I've never seen so may kinds of them and they were showing off more than the Sakuras.

The tour was everything we hoped for. The accommodations were excellent and high class. We especially enjoyed the food experiences with unique opportunities to try different dishes and cooking methods including individual BBQ's, a class in making sushi, and delicious Kobe beef. We saw many different parts of Japan and enjoyed the cultural experiences such as meeting the Maiko geisha, seeing the incredible floats at the Takayama festival, enjoying the wonderful gardens and being able to try the lovely onsen.
