Winter in Japan is as beautifully stunning and impactful as my favorite season, the fall. Everywhere you look, it's beautiful. Our guide Kim was outstanding in her gracious and patient nature. She went out of her way to make sure that I was able to survive my food allergy. The guide on any tour makes or breaks the experience and Kim managed to accommodate each of us, no matter the size of the group. The route was well- considered and I felt that we touched on many important landmarks in urban areas and the countryside.

The tour was great, but Kim, our guide, made it amazing. The stories, the facts and the sense of humor made it fun and stress free the entire time. The drivers were also amazing, especially our first driver, who had to be replaced when a bad driver hit our bus. It was not his fault at all, but he and Kim handled it amazingly.

It is hard for me to say what particular aspect of the tour I enjoyed the most because each experience played its part in developing my appreciation for Japan and its history, culture, architecture, society, and the effort & dedication put in to get Japan to where it is today. The guides are fun & friendly and each event is interesting. The time spent at each event is reasonable--balancing the number of places we can see vs. how long we see them. Overall, the tour was a wonderful experience.

I was rather apprehensive to go from New Zealand on my own to join a group in Japan, however I felt confident by the efficiency of your administration that it would be a good choice. I was certainly not disappointed. The tour was very well organised and did exactly what was planned. I was delighted to be able to visit so many sites and have so many wonderful experiences. One of the reasons was our excellent guide, Kim Kido. She was informative, friendly, extremely helpful and had a wonderful sense of humour. She managed the group superbly, enabling us to be on time everywhere without feeling rushed. Our drivers were all superb, and I’m sorry that I did not remember their names. However our last driver’s first name was Takashiro. They were all helpful, polite and did everything they could to make the trip easier with all their baggage handling and excellent driving. The food was wonderful and we were given many different opportunities to experience that.
