Rin (sp?), our tour guide, was absolutely wonderful. She was quite knowledgeable, but more importantly, she handled a number of issues with the individuals within the group. This includes myself. At the end of the end of the tour while we were about to board the bus to the airport, I passed out due to dehydration (my own fault). She stayed with me and, after I recovered, took us to the airport in a taxi.

We had a fabulous time on our trip. Ling was an amazing tour guide. For 3 week straight, she kept the group going, on time and cohesive. She was really good at managing some difficult personalities from the other guests. We had a few miserable people who complained a lot, but most of the other people on the tour were nice and decent people. Ling was funny, informative and friendly. We would totally take a tour with her again and can't wait to mail her a thank you gift to the office. We saw so much, it's hard to remember it all. Highlights for me were Nagasaki, the sulfur spring onsen, Mt. Fuju, the fox shrine in Kyoto and Sapporo. It was cool to see a mix of small towns, cities and national parks. Most of the food was great, not all. But I prefer BBQ and Mexican food over what Japanese people eat. However, Japan has the best chocolate and ice cream, I recommend the cantaloupe/squid ink swirl. I wish there was a little more downtime in the larger cities, but other than that, it was great tour. I think I saw more of Japan in 3 weeks a lot of the people who live there. We went for the Sakura blooming season, but we were amazed and over joyed by the camellias instead. I've never seen so may kinds of them and they were showing off more than the Sakuras.

Grand Tour of Japan: Autumn Leaves & Cherry Blossoms

Mr. Spencer Bibby

This was a fantastic option to see a lot more of the country than the usual Tokyo to Osaka options that most other tour companies offer. There is a good variety in the included sightseeing. The hotels were all very nice - having two nights with the traditional ryokan stays was a pretty ideal number. The included meals were all good and gave us a nice variety of Japanese food.

Mr. Pietrusewsky Jr. & Mr. Ruiz

We saw a lot on this tour and we liked it when the number of guests was 17 at the start of the tour. The guides, Kim and Billy, and bus drivers did a great job. We liked the onsens at the hotels that had them. Having 3 nights in Tokyo was great as we got to visit friends who live there.

Mr. & Mrs. Kahan

We had a super time and saw so much! Both guides, Kim and Billy were great. Billy gave us so much information, whether about the destinations, history, folklore, daily life and personal anecdotes, that the longer journeys passed more easily. They were both very patient (when people ran late) and solicitous of everyone in the group, and also gave us important practical advice and information (such as toilet locations, shopping centres etc). The only remark we would make is that whereas the first bus had wi-fi, charging points and a toilet, the second bus looked rather old and had none of these facilities, which are very useful when you are travelling for many hours. Our first driver was excellent, very smooth, and took enormous pride in the cleanliness of his bus, polishing the gleaming hub caps every day! Accommodation was varied, which made the experience interesting. Breakfast was always excellent.

Mr. John Quigg

We enjoyed our tour. Billy was an excellent guide, hard- working and caring. Please give him a raise! The three bus drivers were very safe and punctual. Some of the bus rides were too long, which meant late arrivals at the next hotel and late dinners.

Mr. Wells

An excellent tour with a good variety of different sites and activities. Billy was an amazing guide who was so knowledgeable and organized. We have traveled extensively , both on tours and on our own, and this tour was one of the best. Delee Wells
